Zamalek, the Egyptian football club, has had its transfer ban lifted by FIFA after settling outstanding debts to former assistant coaches. The international governing body informed the club of the decision following the payment of wages owed to the assistants of Portuguese manager Jesualdo Ferreira. The three assistants, Rui Aguas, Andre Oliveira, and Daniel Gonzalez, had filed claims with FIFA, leading to the ban on player registrations. The club had previously resolved a similar issue with former striker Khalid Boutaib, reaching an agreement over his unpaid wages. The decision will allow Zamalek to sign new players during the upcoming transfer window.
