Abdulwahed Al-Sayed, the director of football at Zamalek SC, held a private meeting with Portuguese manager Jose Gomes on the sidelines of the team’s first training session. The meeting took place at the team’s hotel in Borg El Arab during their closed training camp. Al-Sayed discussed Gomes’s requests for the training camp and the team’s upcoming schedule to ensure optimal preparation for the season ahead. The Zamalek training camp will continue until September 7th, during which time the team will play three friendly matches, starting with a game against Saudi club Al-Ansar on Saturday. The team will face Saudi club Al-Shoalah on September 3rd and conclude their friendlies against Iraqi club Al-Shurta on September 7th.
