A young man was killed in a road accident on the Dinajpur-Gobindaganj highway near Amtali Bazaar in Chiribandar Upazila, Dinajpur district on Saturday morning. The accident occurred around 7:30 AM when the fertilizer-laden truck driven by Bipu Roy, 24, overturned into a roadside ditch. Bipu Roy was traveling from Phulbari to Dinajpur when he lost control of the vehicle near Amtali Bazaar. He died on the spot after being crushed under the truck. Chiribandar Police Station Sub-Inspector Helal Uddin confirmed the incident and stated that legal action will be taken in this regard.
