The Yangyang Small Cinema in Gangwon-do Province, South Korea, has been chosen to host the 2024 Small Cinema Program, a nationwide initiative aimed at expanding film culture and supporting small cinemas. The program will feature 15 diverse films, including documentaries, art films, black-and-white films, and director retrospectives, across five themed sections. All screenings are free and will be accompanied by supplementary programs like cinema storytelling and film discussions. The program will run from September to October, offering the community a chance to engage with a wider range of film genres and filmmakers.
