Wilfried Zaha, the former Crystal Palace winger, has left Galatasaray after just one season and is heading to France to play for Olympique Lyonnais on loan. Zaha arrived in Istanbul from Crystal Palace but failed to meet expectations. He scored 10 goals in 43 appearances last season, a campaign in which Galatasaray won the Turkish league title. However, he only played 15 minutes in the current season. Zaha was not included in the playoff squad for the Champions League against Young Boys, and Galatasaray ultimately failed to qualify for the competition. This led to the decision to send Zaha on loan to Lyon.
