Speaking at a conference on drug prevention and control in the Southwest region, Long stressed the importance of transitioning from traditional methods to modern approaches to effectively address the evolving landscape of drug trafficking. He highlighted the increasing sophistication of drug trafficking operations, with criminals exploiting online platforms to facilitate their activities. The Deputy Minister emphasized the urgency of adapting law enforcement tactics to stay ahead of these evolving trends and prevent drug crimes from escalating.
