A vegetable vendor in Ranni, Pathanamthitta, Kerala, was brutally hacked to death by a two-member gang. The victim, identified as Anil, reportedly got into a heated argument with the assailants over the price of carrots. Following the dispute, the assailants attacked Anil, resulting in his tragic death. Police have taken two individuals into custody in connection with the murder. One of the suspects is a known criminal with a history of offenses. The incident has shaken the community, highlighting the potential for even seemingly minor disputes to escalate into violence. The injured individual who was present during the attack is currently receiving medical treatment at Kottayam Medical College Hospital.
