Vancouver Man Shot and Killed on City Street

A 39-year-old man, identified as Keomany Phetchitvathanalay, was fatally shot in central Vancouver early Wednesday morning. The Clark County Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed that Phetchitvathanalay died from multiple gunshot wounds. The Vancouver Police Department reported that the shooting occurred around 4 a.m. in the 3500 block of Northeast 66th Avenue, near the intersection of state Highway 500 and Andresen Road. Investigators have not yet released further information about the incident, including whether a suspect has been identified.
