Valentino Iliev, head coach of CSKA 1948, couldn’t hide his joy following his team’s convincing victory over Botev Vratsa. The ‘red’ coach praised his players for their discipline and admitted his only criticism was directed at the first five minutes of the match. ‘We played a very good game. I congratulate my team, because today they showed incredible discipline. The only thing I didn’t like was the first five minutes. We reacted very well and managed to adapt. We always prepare with maximum dedication and concentration for every match. Our elimination was painful and we experienced it unpleasantly. I told the boys then that they should be proud of reaching the 97th minute. For us, this will be an invaluable experience. This is my city. I started here as a footballer. This club has given me so much. I connect it very much with my father, and today the match was very emotional for me,’ said Valyo Iliev.
