Students at Dhaka University (DU) have been actively involved in collecting relief supplies for flood victims for the past nine days. They have been organizing the collection drive at the Teacher-Student Centre (TSC), with donations pouring in from individuals and even foreigners. Volunteers working on the initiative reported that while clothing is no longer urgently needed, the primary requirement is for dry food, rice, lentils, potatoes, and other cooking essentials. Earlier in the week, the TSC witnessed a surge in donations from the public, including cash and essential supplies. The students stressed their commitment to continuing the relief efforts until the flood situation stabilizes.
