Spanish National Police have arrested a Ukrainian man in Alicante, Spain, who was wanted by Russian authorities for his alleged involvement in a fraudulent scheme. The 31-year-old suspect was located in a hotel in the city. According to an International Arrest Warrant issued by Russia, the suspect, along with an accomplice, is accused of forming a criminal group aimed at defrauding individuals. The suspect allegedly posed as a financial institution employee and tricked a victim into transferring 88,000 rubles (approximately 850 euros) to a bank account controlled by the group. The suspect was subsequently apprehended and turned over to the Alicante courts.
