Ukrainian Air Force Commander Fired After F-16 Crash

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has dismissed the commander of the country’s air force, Mykola Oleshchuk, after one of their F-16 fighter jets, donated by Western countries, crashed. The order was announced on Friday on the president’s website. Zelensky stated that they must protect their people and personnel, emphasizing the importance of ensuring the safety of all Ukrainian soldiers. He added that Ukraine needs to strengthen its military at the command level.
