Ukraine’s Long-Range Weapons: A Closer Look at the Arsenal

Ukraine is actively seeking to obtain long-range weapons from its Western allies, aiming to strike deep into Russia and potentially force negotiations. This has spurred questions about the weaponry at their disposal and its capabilities. Among the most notable weapons are the Storm Shadow/SCALP cruise missile, a joint development of the UK and France. This stealth missile boasts a range of up to 560 kilometers and carries a powerful warhead capable of destroying bunkers and underground facilities. The United States has also provided ATACMS ballistic missiles, with a range of 300 kilometers, which can be deployed from HIMARS launchers.
