Two Women Killed, Three Injured in Car Accident in Egypt

Two women were killed and three others injured in a car accident in the Minya Governorate of Egypt. The accident occurred when a private car overturned into the Ibrahimiya canal while the passengers were returning from a wedding ceremony in Matay, north of Minya. Emergency services and security personnel responded to the scene and discovered the two women had died. The three injured individuals sustained various injuries, including bruising, lacerations, and fractures, as well as suspected post-concussion symptoms. The injured were transported to a local hospital for treatment while the bodies of the deceased were taken to the hospital morgue. Authorities have initiated an investigation into the incident.
