Çiçek, a third-year student at Biruni University, says she was initially contacted by the organizing body and scheduled for an interview. However, after her friend was accepted for the position, Çiçek was informed that the organization had a policy against hiring headscarf-wearing individuals. Outraged by the discrimination, Çiçek has taken legal action, stating that she will not be silenced and that this incident should not be taken lightly. She believes it is crucial for victims of discrimination to speak out, regardless of whether it is related to religion, race, or any other factor.
