Turkish authorities apprehended 12 individuals attempting to cross the border into Greece illegally, according to a statement released by the Ministry of National Defence (MSB). The MSB revealed that three of the detainees are suspected of being members of the FETO terrorist organization, known for its alleged involvement in the 2016 coup attempt in Turkey. The incident occurred in the Edirne province, where border security forces successfully intercepted the group. Following investigations, authorities identified three individuals as FETO members, highlighting the ongoing efforts to combat the organization’s activities within Turkish borders.
