Serkan Yıldırım, a Turkish athlete competing in the men’s 100-meter T12 category at the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games, has achieved a historic victory by winning the gold medal. He overcame legal challenges to secure his participation in the games and ultimately secured a time of 10.70 seconds, earning Turkey’s first-ever gold medal in para athletics.
