Turkey has announced a new visa exemption policy for Iraqi citizens. Effective September 1st, individuals under 15 years old and those over 50 years old, holding ordinary passports, will be exempt from visa requirements for tourist and transit visits to Turkey, with a maximum stay of 90 days within a 180-day period. This decision was made based on the provisions of Turkey’s Foreigners and International Protection Law. The new policy aims to facilitate travel between the two countries and strengthen bilateral relations.
