The Turkish Petroleum Pipeline Corporation (BOTAS) has announced that natural gas prices will remain unchanged for residential and industrial consumers in September. According to a tariff table published on the BOTAS website, the price for natural gas remains steady for both residential and industrial subscribers, as well as for electricity generation. The price for residential consumers is set at 5,631 Turkish Liras per 1,000 cubic meters, while industrial consumers pay 8,549 Turkish Liras per 1,000 cubic meters. The tariff for electricity generation is 12,000 Turkish Liras per 1,000 cubic meters. BOTAS emphasizes that despite global energy market fluctuations, Turkey continues to offer lower natural gas prices for residential consumers than most European countries.
