Turkey is providing assistance through the Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD), including the distribution of 16,750 aid packages to those affected by the disaster. The aid is being delivered primarily to areas where transportation has been disrupted by the floods. Erdoğan emphasized Turkey’s commitment to supporting Bangladesh during this difficult time, highlighting the strong ties between the two nations. The aid effort is being undertaken in coordination with AFAD, the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA), and Turkish civil society organizations, signifying a collaborative approach to relief efforts.
