This marks the second derailment of the SE2 train in less than a month, with the previous incident occurring on July 28th. Passengers aboard the train experienced a loud bang and shaking, followed by smoke billowing from the train’s carriages. Several passengers chose to continue their journey by taxi due to the disruption caused by the derailment. Authorities are investigating the cause of the incident.
