Tragic Loss: NHL Star Johnny Gaudreau and Brother Killed in Bicycle Accident

NHL player Johnny Gaudreau of the Columbus Blue Jackets has tragically passed away at the age of 31 after being struck by a car while cycling in his home state of New Jersey. The accident occurred on Thursday night in Salem County, not far from his hometown of Carneys Point. Gaudreau’s brother, Matthew, was also killed in the incident. Authorities have arrested the driver, who is suspected of being under the influence of alcohol and has been charged with two counts of death by auto. The driver admitted to consuming alcohol before the crash.
