A fatal accident occurred on August 31st around 6:30 am on state road DC-56 near Raštevića, Croatia. A 26-year-old Croatian citizen died after losing control of his car. Initial investigations suggest the driver, who was traveling from Benkovac towards Biljane, veered off the road and crashed into a covered bus stop shelter. The impact caused fatal injuries, and the driver was pronounced dead at the scene. An autopsy will be conducted on the deceased. The police have notified the relevant state attorney’s office in Zadar. During the investigation, traffic flowed under temporary police regulation.
