Tragedy at Salda Lake: 18-Year-Old Drowns While Swimming

Hıdırcan Solkol, an 18-year-old from Denizli, tragically drowned while swimming in Salda Lake in Burdur. Solkol had gone to the Doganbaba Public Beach with friends when he began to struggle in the water around 5:00 pm. Passersby managed to pull him to shore, but despite extensive CPR efforts, he could not be revived. The young man’s body was taken to Yesilova State Hospital Morgue pending an investigation. The authorities are continuing their investigation into the incident.
