Tractor Sinks Into Dry Fountain in Belarusian Park

A tractor in Soligorsk, Belarus, plunged into a dry fountain after the pavement beneath it gave way. The incident occurred in the Family, Love, and Faithfulness Square, where the tractor was attempting to cross the dry fountain area. The pavement, unable to support the weight of the vehicle, collapsed, causing the tractor to sink partially. This isn’t the first time a similar incident has happened in the same location. A few years ago, a municipal service tractor with a trailer also sank into the fountain while spreading sand on the square’s pathways during winter. The reason for the latest incident is unclear. Videos shared by Soligorsk residents show the tractor stuck in the damaged fountain and the subsequent efforts to extract it, which required heavy equipment. The incident is a reminder of the importance of proper infrastructure maintenance and ensuring safe passage for heavy vehicles.
