In the Dongxiong village of Tibet’s Lhunze County, a new housing project has transformed the lives of residents, providing them with modern homes and economic opportunities. The project, funded by Guangdong Province’s aid program, has delivered 64 new homes to the villagers, with another 34 receiving renovations to their existing houses. This initiative, part of Guangdong’s 30-year support program for Tibet, marks a significant improvement in the living conditions of Dongxiong’s border residents. The project also provided opportunities for villagers to work on the construction, boosting local employment. The initiative highlights the growing collaboration between Guangdong and Tibet, fostering economic development and improving lives in remote areas.
