The Ministry of Defense in Thailand recently held a training session for government officials to reinforce ethical conduct. The session, which took place on August 30, 2023, focused on the seven key principles of ethical behavior for government employees, emphasizing the importance of upholding the country’s core institutions, integrity, and service to the public. Over 5,000 government officials attended the training, which included presentations by experts from the Office of the Civil Service Commission (OCSC) and the Ministry of Defense itself. The training covered specific guidelines on appropriate and inappropriate conduct in various situations, providing practical guidance for officials to maintain ethical standards.
