Brighton & Hove Albion has once again made a bold move by appointing Fabian Hurzeler, a 32-year-old coach from Texas, as their new manager. Hurzeler, who previously led German club St. Pauli to promotion to the Bundesliga, is now the youngest manager in Premier League history. He started his coaching career at the age of 23, taking charge of FC Pipinsried in Germany’s fifth division. He has since gained experience in various coaching roles, including stints with the German national team’s youth academy and as an assistant coach at St. Pauli. Hurzeler’s Brighton debut will be a challenging one, as they face a formidable opponent in Arsenal this weekend.
