Tesla has announced a recall of hundreds of imported Model X electric SUVs in China, addressing a potential safety issue related to roof panel detachment. The recall, affecting 870 vehicles manufactured between March 2016 and July 2016, follows a similar recall initiated four years ago. The company will inspect all affected vehicles and re-test the roof panel adhesion. If necessary, the roof panel will be replaced and re-installed with a proper adhesive layer to ensure secure attachment. Tesla’s commitment to safety remains strong, especially in the rapidly growing Chinese market for electric vehicles.
