The air quality in Tehran is currently considered acceptable, with an air quality index (AQI) of 79, according to the Tehran Air Quality Control Company. Over the past 24 hours, the AQI was recorded at 85, also indicating acceptable air quality. Since the beginning of the year, Tehran has experienced 5 days of clean air, 105 days of acceptable air, 52 days of polluted air, and 2 days of unhealthy air. In comparison, during the same period last year, Tehran had 8 days of clean air, 115 days of acceptable air, 36 days of unhealthy air for sensitive groups, and 5 days of unhealthy air for everyone.
