Taipei City has announced a significant increase in its Teacher Appreciation Bonus, raising it to NT$2,000 (approximately US$65) for the upcoming year. Mayor Chiang Wan-an also announced a series of special benefits and events for teachers, including discounted dining, shopping, and entertainment options, as well as free tickets to a professional baseball game.
