Suwon Park Golf Association Plans Protest for Construction of Park Golf Courses

The Suwon Park Golf Association, advocating for the construction of park golf courses in Suwon City, has announced plans for a series of protests, including a relay one-person demonstration and group actions. The association held a ‘Suwon City Park Golf Course Establishment Promotion Conference’ on July 30th at the Suwon City Sports Center. The conference was attended by over 100 individuals, including Han Bong-gyu, the association’s chairman, and representatives from eight local clubs. During the conference, participants emphasized the need for building a minimum of 36 holes of park golf courses in Suwon City, as well as smaller courses with at least 9 holes within designated park areas. These plans highlight the association’s strong commitment to increasing park golf facilities in Suwon.
