The last long weekend of summer is upon us, and British Columbia is set to bask in sunshine. According to 1130 NewsRadio meteorologist Michael Kuss, this time of year often brings some of the best weather, with shorter days and longer nights leading to pleasant cooling but warm daytime highs. This weekend is expected to be no different, with sunny skies and temperatures reaching as high as 28 degrees Celsius in Metro Vancouver. The coast will enjoy a refreshing westerly wind, keeping temperatures in the low 20s. Interior regions will also experience a warm weekend, with the Sea to Sky region seeing sunny skies and temperatures close to 30 degrees in Whistler and Squamish.
