The Hermandad de la Coronación, a brotherhood based in the Santa María Magdalena parish in Los Molinos, Spain, is temporarily relocating its images to the San Luis Gonzaga church. This move is due to necessary structural renovations at the parish church. The work, directed by architect Miguel Nieto, will focus on restoring pillars, strengthening the structure with metal reinforcements, repairing the roof, and addressing a wall crack. The renovation will also include improvements to the church’s bathrooms and base. The Diocese of Almería is funding the project with a portion of an annual grant from the Provincial Council of Almería and seeking additional funding. The brotherhood’s procession images will be moved on August 31st following the 9pm mass, departing from the Santa María Magdalena parish at 9:30pm and arriving at San Luis Gonzaga church at 11pm.
