He also emphasized that the world is taking notice of South Korea’s competitiveness and growth trajectory. Addressing housing concerns, President Yoon assured the public that the government is actively working to provide affordable housing options. He announced a comprehensive plan to address the recent surge in housing prices in the Seoul metropolitan area, involving the supply of 427,000 new homes over the coming years. President Yoon also emphasized the government’s commitment to increasing the annual housing supply in the capital region to 70,000 units, exceeding the historical average by approximately 11%.
