The Broadcast Communications Deliberation Council (BCDC) and the Busan Education Office have signed a partnership agreement to combat digital sex crimes. This collaboration aims to expand nationwide efforts to protect students from online exploitation. The BCDC will participate in the upcoming nationwide education council to discuss strategies for protecting students from digital sex crimes. This will include proposing joint responses, offering training for educators and parents, and providing information on recognizing and reporting deepfake videos. Both organizations have committed to swift action against deepfake videos and other forms of digital sex crimes. The partnership will establish a 24/7 hotline to report these crimes, expand the Green i-Net program (which automatically blocks harmful content and websites), and provide guidance on identifying and reporting deepfake videos to students.
