Antalya authorities seized 16 parrots from an individual who was selling them without proper documentation. Acting on a tip, wildlife officials conducted inspections in Kepez district and discovered that the seller lacked the required invoices and leg bands for the birds, which included two lovebirds and 14 Quaker parrots. The individual was fined 8,322 Turkish Lira for the violation. Authorities emphasized the importance of registering wild animals and stated that they will continue to carry out such inspections to prevent similar incidents.
