Shimiz’s Loan Move to Bari: A Departure from Maccabi Haifa

Lorenzo Shimizu, a defender for Maccabi Haifa, has joined Bari on loan, marking his departure from the Israeli club. The transfer comes after the signing of Brazilian defender Pedrao by the Israeli champions. Shimizu spent a season with Maccabi Haifa, making 39 appearances and scoring one goal. The loan move to Bari in Italy’s Serie B does not include an obligation to buy, but if Bari achieves promotion to Serie A, they will be obligated to purchase Shimizu from Maccabi Haifa. Bari finished in 17th place in Serie B last season, narrowly avoiding relegation through a play-off victory.
