Seven Arrested in Kwara Student’s Murder: Girlfriend for Hire Turned Deadly

A dismissed student of Summit University, Offa, Adebayo Happiness, allegedly invited 21-year-old Mojisola Awesu, a graduate of the Kwara State College of Health Technology, to Ilorin for a party. He offered her N15,000 to act as his girlfriend. However, tragedy struck when Awesu was found dead in a hotel room on August 9th. The Kwara State Police Command has arrested seven suspects, including Happiness, his parents, and three hotel staff members. The police are investigating the circumstances surrounding Awesu’s death, which they believe was a murder. The suspects are facing charges and further updates are expected as the investigation progresses.
