The Ministry of Interior in Saudi Arabia announced the execution of a Syrian national, Hlal Hamada Al-Salameh, for smuggling amphetamines into the Kingdom. The ministry stated that Al-Salameh was apprehended by security forces and subsequently convicted by a competent court. Following the finalization of the legal process, including appeals and a royal decree, the death sentence was carried out in the Al-Jouf region. The Ministry of Interior emphasized the Saudi government’s commitment to combating drug trafficking and protecting citizens from its harmful effects, reiterating that severe penalties will be enforced against those involved in such activities.
