Samho Development’s Kim Jong-hoon Wins Double Gold at National Paralympic Powerlifting Championships

Kim Jong-hoon, representing Samho Development, achieved a remarkable feat at the 2024 National Paralympic Powerlifting Championships, securing two gold medals in the men’s 72kg division. On the fourth day of competition held in Seongju, Gyeongbuk, Kim dominated the squat event, lifting 167kg to outshine Choi Jae-ha (160kg) and Chun Jae-yeon (158kg) and claim first place. While he finished third in the deadlift with a lift of 178kg, his combined total of 345kg surpassed Choi (345kg) and Chun (342kg), securing him the overall victory. Choi secured a gold medal in the deadlift with a lift of 185kg.
