Salernitana has made a series of surprising transfer moves, sending defender Domagoj Bradaric (24) on loan to Verona with a purchase option. In return, the Serie A club has acquired Australian midfielder Ajdin Hrustic (28), also on loan. There was initial speculation that defender Flavius Daniliuc (23) was close to joining Verona, but he remains with Salernitana. The club is seeking cash for Daniliuc, rejecting Verona’s offer of Daniele Ghilardi (21). Salernitana is also actively pursuing free agent Gian Marco Ferrari (32), a left-footed center-back, but awaits approval from the club president. The team is also monitoring striker Ernesto Torregrossa (32) of Pisa, whose contract is expiring. Pisa would cover most of his salary, making the deal less expensive than signing Joao Pedro (32). Brescia is also reportedly interested in Torregrossa. Salernitana is looking to offload Mamadou Coulibaly (25) to Juve Stabia and Mateusz Legowski (21) to Krakow. The club is also trying to sell Junior Sambia (27), but there have been no offers due to his high salary. Antonio Pio Iervolino (21) has moved to Taranto. Jaroszynski will replace Bradaric as the left-back.
