A Ukrainian shell struck a car in Russia’s Belgorod region, resulting in the deaths of five civilians and injuries to 37 others, including six children. The attack, which occurred on Friday, was confirmed by Belgorod region governor Vyacheslav Gladkov, who expressed deep sorrow over the incident. He offered condolences to the family and loved ones of the deceased. While the incident in Belgorod region drew widespread attention, the Russian Defense Ministry also reported airstrikes targeting Ukrainian military personnel and equipment in 11 settlements within the Sumy region. These strikes, conducted by Russian tactical operational aviation, were said to have targeted units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces including air assault brigades and territorial defense brigades.
