The National Liberal Party (PNL) in Romania has unveiled its legislative agenda for the upcoming fall session of the Chamber of Deputies. The party’s key priorities include eliminating taxes on pensions below 3,000 lei, maintaining the single tax rate, and prohibiting any increases in taxes and levies in 2025. The PNL has also stated its commitment to preventing the double taxation of private pension funds (Pilonul II). The party’s leader in the Chamber of Deputies, Gabriel Andronache, emphasized that opposing these proposals would be tantamount to opposing the interests of Romanian citizens.
