Retired Officials Recruited Back to Service in Andhra Pradesh

The Andhra Pradesh government, after initially asking retired officials and employees to resign, has now announced guidelines for the recruitment of retired mid-level officers and employees. The move allows departments to hire these individuals on a contract or outsourcing basis, subject to a screening committee’s approval. The screening committee, composed of senior officials, will evaluate the applications and recommend candidates for specific roles. The government clarified that the recruitment process only applies to retired employees of the Andhra Pradesh state government.
