Real Estate Scamster Arrested in Cairo: 23 Victims Targeted

A real estate marketing company owner in Cairo’s Shorouq district was arrested and charged with defrauding multiple clients. The arrest followed a social media post by a woman who claimed she had been scammed by the company. The victim stated that she had paid a deposit for a residential unit but was then unable to contact the company and retrieve her money. Police investigations revealed that the suspect, with previous criminal records, had defrauded 23 individuals using a similar scheme. The woman admitted to the accusations and was remanded in custody for four days pending further investigation.
