Quang Ninh Island Transformed into 1,000-hectare Golf and Resort Destination

The Quang Ninh People’s Committee has approved a master plan to develop the Nui Cuong Island into a major tourist destination. The island, located near Bai Tu Long Bay, will be transformed into a 1,000-hectare golf and resort complex. The project encompasses the entire island and aims to create a diverse tourism product, combining a world-class golf course, eco-tourism facilities, and sustainable seafood farming. The development will be implemented in phases, with a projected population of 7,800 by 2030 and 20,000 by 2045. This island transformation project seeks to establish a unique and attractive tourist destination that caters to various interests, while simultaneously preserving the pristine natural environment.
