Prince Harry is reportedly demanding a sincere apology from his brother, Prince William, as a prerequisite for any reconciliation, according to royal experts. Harry, who left the Royal Family with his wife Meghan Markle in 2020, is said to be keen on repairing his relationship with William for the sake of their children. Despite Harry’s return to the UK for the Invictus Games in May, a reunion with William and Kate did not materialize. Harry and Meghan’s children, Archie and Lilibet, have grown up largely separated from their cousins, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis. Royal biographer Tom Quinn suggests that Harry desires closer ties between the two families, stating, ‘He wants to reconcile with his brother so that the children can have some kind of a relationship.’ However, Harry and Meghan insist that a genuine apology from William and Kate is necessary before any reconciliation can occur. Meanwhile, reports indicate that King Charles is also seeking an apology from Harry for his public criticisms of the Royal Family, even refusing to take calls from his son.
