The Museu de Arte Pré-Histórica e do Sagrado do Vale do Tejo in Mação, Portugal, has undergone a significant renovation, receiving an investment of over 300,000 euros. The museum boasts a modernized space with a new facade, a renovated ground floor, a dedicated exhibition space, a conference room, and a shop. The renovation, according to the Mayor of Mação, Vasco Estrela, will enhance the museum’s appeal, making it a more attractive destination for visitors. The museum houses an impressive collection of artifacts related to prehistory and the origins of agriculture and art, including a collection of 6,000 pieces from excavations and archaeological discoveries.
