Portuguese Economy Grows 1.5% in the Second Quarter

Portugal’s economy grew by 1.5% in the second quarter of 2024 compared to the same period last year, according to the National Statistics Institute (INE). This figure matches the preliminary estimate released at the end of July. The INE also confirmed that the economy expanded by 0.1% compared to the first quarter of 2024.
